These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the VidyMi mobile application and website (vidymi.com), operated by Aiwebix ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using VidyMi, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Eligibility
VidyMi is intended for students in Class 6–12 (approximately ages 11–18), as well as their parents and teachers. Users under the age of 13 must have verifiable parental or guardian consent. By using the app, you represent that you meet these eligibility requirements.
2. Account Registration
- You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account at info@vidymi.com.
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree to use VidyMi only for lawful, personal, and educational purposes. You must not:
- Share your account credentials with others or allow unauthorised access.
- Reproduce, redistribute, or commercially exploit any content from VidyMi without written permission.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the app.
- Use the platform to post, transmit, or distribute harmful, offensive, or unlawful content.
- Interfere with the security or integrity of the platform or other users' data.
- Use automated bots, scrapers, or scripts to access the platform.
4. Intellectual Property
All content on VidyMi — including the app design, UI, branding, AI models, curriculum content, quizzes, and educational materials — is owned by or licensed to Aiwebix. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app for personal educational purposes only. Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you.
5. AI Coaching Disclaimer
VidyMi's AI features (doubt solving, study plan generation) are designed to assist learning. AI-generated responses may occasionally be incomplete or inaccurate. We recommend verifying critical academic information with a qualified teacher or textbook. VidyMi is a supplementary learning tool, not a substitute for formal education.
6. Offline Functionality
VidyMi is designed to work offline. Certain features may be limited without an internet connection. We are not responsible for any data loss resulting from device failure, uninstallation, or storage issues on your device.
7. Third-Party Services
VidyMi may integrate third-party services (e.g., analytics, cloud storage). These services have their own privacy policies and terms of use, and we are not responsible for their practices. Links to third-party websites from our platform do not constitute our endorsement.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Aiwebix and VidyMi shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to academic outcomes, data loss, or service interruptions.
9. Modifications to the Service
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue VidyMi (or any part thereof) at any time, with or without notice. We will endeavour to provide reasonable notice of significant changes.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to VidyMi at our sole discretion, without prior notice, if you violate these Terms. You may also delete your account at any time via the app settings.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notice. Your continued use of VidyMi after such notice constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
